The Making of Knowing Him, Finding Me:
I never set out to write a book. In fact, this was a 16 year process. The idea was birthed during a season when I was working with university students, and it morphed through the years as hundreds of cups of tea were shared over conversations about God and life and purpose. I realized that there are some questions that transcend age and cultures, but no matter how different we all are, there are some answers that are always the same. In this book, I worked to answer some of those questions we all ask at some point in life. I hope you will consider going on this journey with me through the pages of Knowing Him, Finding Me as we wrestle through knowing the character of God and better understanding our purpose in life.

This is an amazing book! We live in a world that tries to make us define our own identity. The reality is, our identity starts with God. This is where this book starts – who God is. I loved reading this book because I was in a time of throwing off old childhood lies I had formed as my identity. The author presents absolute truths and applications to grow closer to God. What a great book to get lost in! A devotional that makes it hard to stop. Engaging and inspiring, the author makes you feel like you’re at her kitchen table sharing a cup of coffee with her or walking alongside her as she illustrates life, character, and identity in Jesus. Even though I have been a Christian for many years and am very familiar with the attributes of God and the attributes of my identity in Christ, I still found this book to be so refreshing, encouraging, and convicting! Rochelle does a wonderful job of painting a clear, biblical, and sound picture of who God is and who we are to God. I enjoyed her personal stories and her reflection questions and prayers at the end of each chapter. This book would be great for small groups to do together since she has action steps at the end of each chapter that you could do together/discuss and hold each other accountable. This book Knowing Him, Finding Me is a book everyone should read. The title of each chapter Love, Peace, Rest, Healer, etc. and its contents will touch a person at some point in life. At the end of each chapter, Chelle creates thought provoking questions that make you stop and think. She ends each chapter with a meaningful prayer that also applies to the chapter. I have read some chapters twice and cried. This book has blessed me in so many ways. I highly recommend it. It is a good read. – Amazon review
