Creative – Made in His Image

It has been a wild season for me, which has consisted of packing, moving, packing again, moving again, and all of the emotions that go along with change. I’ve mostly ghosted social media and my blog for the past four months, so this week I decided to jump back on and do something fun — a creativity challenge.

And I challenge YOU to join me. For the next five days, let’s do something creative for 15 minutes each day. It can be something we are already good at and enjoy or something we’ve never done but want to try.

Then, if you have an extra 5 minutes, post your creations below and we can swap ideas and inspirations.

Let your own imaginations run wild (or hop on Pinterest). And in case you need a quick jump start, here are a few suggestions…

-make a decoration for your home

-bake something new

-do a craft with some kids

-write a poem

My prayer for you is that as you stop in your busy schedule and create something, you will think about our Creator and remember that we are created in His image. He has given us characteristics of who He is.

Happy Creating!

  3. Day # 3 – I wrote some haikus for fun…

    1) Rain with the sunshine
    I’m reminded of God’s care
    Joy grows deep within

    2) When the rains fall down
What’s in the ground starts to grow
    Even though its hard

    3) The stars above shine
    Making beauty in darkness
    Until the new day
